GCSE Results Day 2024

The Governors and Staff of Drumglass High School are delighted with the GCSE results that the students have achieved. Top performers included Adam Watt (Deputy Head Boy), Anne-Marie Debowska, Rachel Crooks, Nadine Farmer, Faith Hunter (Head Girl), Madison Lutton and Ross McMahon.

Other pupils achieving exceptional results included: Harvey Bentley, Caitlin Godfrey (Deputy Head Girl), Joshua Green, Sam Hall, Karolina Jakuc, Lee Jardine (Head Boy), Aimee Kirkland, Andreja Kontrimaite, Eva Loe, Adam Maguire, Sarah Nelson, Jeff Pimentel, Matthew Smith, James Watt, Katie Willis, Madalena Xavier Freitas, Madison Young and Ula Zairyte.

Commenting on the pupils’ success, Principal, Mrs Mary Shilliday said, “It is great to see our pupils excelling in what was undoubtedly a challenging year for students, as nationally, exams and grades return close to pre-pandemic levels.”

Mrs Shilliday continued, ““These grades are a reflection of the hard work of staff, pupils and parents. It is particularly pleasing to see that pupils right across the year group achieved fantastic results. These results empower our students to move forward in education or in the world of work. The Staff and Governors want to congratulate all of our pupils and to wish them every success in their future education and employment. I also wish to thank our hardworking teaching staff and support staff who have worked with the pupils to ensure these wonderful results. Parents too have played an important role and can be very proud of their children’s achievements.”
