Pupils in Drumglass High School have achieved outstanding GCSE results. The top performing pupils included Kajus Bagdonas, Mellanie Belo (Deputy Head Girl), Thomas Black, Harry Bradley, Lauren Burrows, Aaron Dilly, Emily Douglas, Joshua Girvan, Reuben Grimes (Head Boy), Ryan Hardy (Deputy Head Boy), James Kennedy, Camilla Magno, Jamie Millar Barros, Rebekah Millar, Renata Simoes, Billy Steenson, Jake Stewart, Dominik Strumilo, Zara Williamson (Head Girl) and Lucy Wylie.

Principal, Mrs Mary Shilliday, said, “ I am delighted that our GCSE pupils have achieved great results and are moving on successfully to the next step in their education and careers.” She continued, “Many are following pathways into nursing, engineering, agriculture, food technology and other important areas of our economy. We wish them all every success in the future.”

The school welcomed a UTV news team into Drumglass on results morning and many of the exceptional performances of the pupils were highlighted on UTV news bulletins throughout GCSE results day.
