Improve your Maths: Extra Maths Clinic Added!
Our Maths Department continues to excel and performed 20% above the Northern Ireland average for similar schools in the last series of GCSEs with 19% of our pupils achieving a grade A. In order to assist all students and ensure they fulfil their potential in this critically important subject the Maths department are adding a second Maths support clinic.
Maths support clinics will continue to be held on Wednesday lunchtimes but will now be in S31 as well as S35. They will be taken by our Maths teachers and classroom assistants and are open to all pupils who wish to attend. Please encourage your child to go if they have areas of Maths that would benefit from further support.
Drumglass High School Football Academy
Drumglass is a footballing school. Our Football Academy has a team of coaches, both internal and external, who work with the pupils every Wednesday after school. The Academy fields girls’ and boys’ teams at all age levels. Competitive League and Cup matches run throughout the year. Both boys’ and girls’ teams have frequently achieved notable success.
