Our school musical ensembles recently had the privilege of performing in the Burnavon Arts Theatre in Cookstown. Our pipe band, flute band and choir performed individual pieces to a packed audience and also combined together with other local schools for a set of finale songs which saw the stage packed with enthusiastic and talented young performers. Our children worked with industry experts to create their own original song called, ‘Hey you, Listen!’ which was performed on the night. We are very proud of our pupils and recognise opportunities like these are vital in building musical skills but also in developing individual confidence and team building across diversity barricades
