On Monday, our pupils had an exciting opportunity to explore the Engineering and Manufacturing industry right here in Mid Ulster. MEGA led the event, giving pupils a fantastic insight into what engineering involves and the wide range of career paths within the sector.

We were also delighted to welcome back seven DHS past pupils, who shared their personal journeys into engineering and the roles they now hold. Their stories were inspirational, and we are extremely grateful for the time they gave to support and motivate the next generation.

A huge thank you as well to the companies who joined us — EDGE Innovate, Kiverco, Mackle Pet Foods, Mallaghan, and Specdrum — for their resources, expertise, and impressive displays that helped bring the world of engineering to life for our pupils.
