A group of Year 10 and Year 11 pupils recently attended PowerFest hosted by Powerscreen/Terex Dungannon.

The event provided pupils with a fantastic insight into the engineering sector through a virtual tour, careers presentations and an exciting Powerscreen design challenge. Pupils learned more about the wide range of opportunities available within engineering and gained a greater understanding of careers within the industry.

Following the engineering activities, pupils enjoyed an afternoon of fun games and team-based activities, which helped create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A huge thank you to Powerscreen for their warm welcome, for providing refreshments throughout the day, and for organising such an engaging event.

The experience gave pupils a very positive impression of both the company and the engineering sector, while inspiring many to consider future careers in engineering.
